AC Developers brought the first Voco by IHG hotel to North America. The Franklin, which AC bought out of bankruptcy and completely renovated, re-opened in October 2020. The property is located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. This 51-key hotel receives strong support from IHG and achieved around 130% RevPar penetration with an 88% occupancy in 2021, despite Covid. IHG conceived voco as a soft brand which should reflect its neighborhood and environment. Designed by Glen Coben of Glen & Company, the hotel retains the charm and elegance of the Gilded Age re- imagined for the 21st century.
