The Distrikt Hotel was co-developed with Greenway Realty, a first-time developer. This was the initial project of several where we were able to combine our experience in the New York market with a financially strong partner seeking relevant development and construction experience. The Distrikt, located at 342 West 40th Street, has 155 rooms in a 32-story building, which presented major challenges in optimizing the sizes of the 5 rooms per floor in this 4-star hotel which is less than 33 feet wide. It operates as a Tapestry Collection by Hilton Hotel. After its completion in 2010, the Distrikt stayed in the top 10 on Trip Advisor for years.
