HY36, A Crowne Plaza Hotel, is like no other Crowne Plaza in the system. The hotel features an 80-foot tall glass atrium with 50 foot chandeliers atop the lobby and restaurant; this feature cannot be found in any other hotel in New York. The rear yard features a retractable glass roof. There are 251 rooms and suites. IHG, the brand and manager of the hotel, was also our equity partner on the project. This hotel became #1 in Manhattan on TripAdvisor within 3 months of opening.
